The Clear Action Series gate valve is specifically designed for handling dry bulk materials in dilute phase pneumatic conveying systems. 

The unique design provides a positive seal across the valve up to 15 PSI differential.

Traditional valve designs rely on soft rubber seals in contact with handled materials which erode or tear away in service, or rely on soft bonnet packing which will relax allowing leakage and requiring frequent maintenance.

The Clear Action valve eliminates these problems by using dynamically loaded hard polymer seals. This dynamic loading is accomplished by using silicon rubber to load the hard polymer seals against the stainless steel blade. The rubber maintains a constant load against the seal plates and blade, adjusting for wear and the working load of the gate.

Conventional round end blade "knife" gates and butterfly valves wedge materials into the seat area which prevents positive shut off of material and air, causes excessive valve wear, and promotes material degradation and valve binding.

• Specifically designed for dust tight operation and positive material seal on differential pressure applications up to 15 psig. (30" Hg.)

• Superior closing action minimizes shearing of materials and is self-cleaning and long wearing

• All Stainless Steel and Food Grade polymer material contact points

• No metal on metal contact

• No internal cavities for material to build up eliminates associated gate seizing and binding

• External seals replaceable while gate is installed minimizing down time

• Choice of actuators: Air Cylinder, Electric Cylinder, Manual Hand Crank, or Chainwheel

• Lightweight construction and narrow profile make installation easier

Ordinary valves have blade retention ledges and open bonnet areas where materials collect and remain trapped. The Clear Action gate valve "clears" material from the sealing surfaces making the gate self cleaning on each close cycle.
