Each vacuum producer shall be a SIHI heavy duty, cast iron liquid ring type, model MH1200. This vacuum producer shall be belt driven with a 75 Hp TEFC 1800 RPM 460/3/60 premium efficiency severe duty motor (by WEG) and shall generate 1200 acfm @ 27.0 inches Hg. (120 scfm).

Each vacuum producer shall be equipped with the following:

• heavy duty cast and machined casing

• ductile iron, dynamically balanced impellers

• one (1) Belt drive and OSHA compliant belt guard

• common carbon steel baseplate

• one (1) 6" discharge water separator silencer with vent and partial re-circulation connections

• one (1) service liquid line partial re-circulation of sealing water, make up water strainer, 110/1/60 2-way solenoid valve, isolating valve, and flow control valve

• one (1) ASHCROFT liquid filled compound gauge, 100 mm dial on service liquid line

• one (1) ASHCROFT liquid filled vacuum gauge, 0 - 100 KPa, 100 mm dial on inlet

• one (1) TECHNO #5050 6" check valve on inlet

One (1) STODDARD V12-H8 intake separator silencer shall be provided. This separator shall be provided with the following:

• 1.5" NPT drain

• one (1) NIBCO 1.5" ball valve with electric actuator

• one (1) set three legs

• one (1) 6" oil weighted ball shutoff valve

Also recommended as an optional extra is our exclusive "Reduced Idle Device". This device automatically bleeds air into the system when it detects that no operators are using the system (completely programmable). This device is exclusive to Northwind Air Systems and provides the following benefits:

• reduces the amperage draw by approximately HALF when no operators are using the system

• extends expected service life of the vacuum producer by lowering its average load conditions

• reduces high exhaust temperature shut downs in the summer

• it allows operators to easily open inlet valves
