The vacuum producer shall be an OMEGA type high performance rotary lobe blower, model 52. This exhauster shall be belt driven with a 30 Hp LEESON TEFC 1800 RPM 460/3/60 premium efficiency motor and shall generate 550 icfm @ 15 inches Hg. continuous.

This exhauster shall be equipped with the following:

• heavy duty cast and machined casing

• dual lobe type steel impellers

• one (1) belts, sheaves, and OSHA belt guard

• one (1) automatic belt tightener system

• one (1) manifolded oil drainage system

• one (1) SILEX 4" intake silencer

• one (1) SILEX 4" silencer for exhaust

• one (1) TECHNOCHEC 4" check valve on exhaust

• one (1) 4" vibration isolation sleeve (intake only)

• one (1) KUNKLE 2 inch vacuum relief valve

• one (1) ASHCROFT #1008 0 to -100 kPa liquid filled vacuum gauge

• one (1) DUROVAC inline filter to protect blower from primary filter by-pass, 98% efficient at 10 microns

• one (1) DWYER 0 - 20" magnehelic for the above filter

• one (1) DWYER 0 - 20" pressure switch to shut down blower on high delta P (broken bag protector)

• one (1) UNITED ELECTRIC B400 temperature switch for exhaust air

The blower shall be supplied with an effective sound enclosure to ensure that radiated system noise does not exceed 80 dBa at full load. This enclosure shall be equipped as follows:

• one (1) 1300 cfm cooling fan with thermostat control

• four (1) service access hinged doors

• two (2) removable end panels

• fabricated from painted steel with 2" sound attenuating material

A HEPA filter upgrade to further protect the vacuum producer from the abrasive fines is recommended but not included in this proposal. Please add $800.00 for this option.

Also recommended as an optional extra is our exclusive "Reduced Idle Device". This device automatically bleeds air into the system when it detects that no operators are using the system (completely programmable). This device is exclusive to Northwind Air Systems  and provides the following benefits:

• reduces the amperage draw by approximately HALF when no operators are using the system

• extends expected service life of the vacuum producer by lowering its average load conditions

• reduces high exhaust temperature shut downs in the summer

• it allows operators to easily open inlet valves
