DuroVac Pulse Jet Filter Separator Typical Setup

Typical Letter of Quotation

The filter separator shall be a DuroVac pulse jet cleaned type, model QVP-60-72 as manufactured by Northwind Air Systems. This unit shall be 60 inches (diam.) by 178 inches height plus required clearance. This separator shall be equipped complete with the following:

• 388 square feet of filter area (6.18:1 air to cloth)

• forty five (45) 72" long 5.25" diam. polyester composite filters with an ASHRAE rated efficiency of 99.99% at 0.4 microns.

• seven (7) ASCO 1" diaphragm valves with pilot solenoids in a remote NEMA 4 enclosure

• programmable pulse jet filter cleaning timer controls in main panel

• two (2) large service access doors

• ¼" Ga. fabrication designed for 24" Hg. double butt welded inside and out to achieve 1 bar momentary internal pressure

• one (1) VORTEX 10" Clear Action pneumatic gate valve, adapted for abrasive service

• one (1) ARO ¾" 4-way solenoid for above valve

• one (1) ARO ¾" filter-regulator-gauge

• structural steel support stand with service access platform. Platform to provide for 72" clear under discharge valve flange.

• 70 degree mass flow slope on cone

• one (1) DWYER #2005 0-5" WG manometer across filters

• one (1) DWYER #1950-10 0 - 10" WG pressure switch across filters connected for Pulse-on-Demand

• one (1) CHT-100 hardened steel wearplate on inlet, 1/2" thk x 10"W x 1/3 wrap

• two (2) FIKE 18" x 30" explosion vents to achieve NFPA 68 (1998) requirements.  NOTE: sizing of this vent requires a duct ported outside not longer than 6 ft.

• one (1) MONITOR Type MK low profile capacitance type high level indicator set at 12 cf. of storage
