A Word about Explosion Proofing

The DuroVac is fully grounded against static and is suitable for operation in a Class II, Div. 2 rated environment with the standard NEMA 4 (dust tight) control panel. For operation in a Div. 1 rated environment, the motor and controls must be upgraded to explosion proof.

It is not possible to provide the DuroVac with explosion relief venting.  If this is a concern, then a proper central vacuum system should be installed.
